About education for citizenship in defense of democracy in Argentina

Abstract

This paper considers some issues related to life in democracy in Argentina and the possibility of peaceful coexistence through debate, tolerance and respect, in order to agree on a minimum content of social values. Some cases are presented that reveal morally antagonistic positions and -as a way to resolve these conflicts- education and the necessary training of citizens is proposed.
